The scrap of Mark that he twisted to fit his need reads "for they had not understood about the loaves; their hearts were hardened. When they had crossed over, they landed at Gennesaret and anchored there."

I am afraid that does not prophecise anything.

@NephilimFree You obviously have not read the dead sea scrolls, as I have. The unequivocally prove that the bible has been edited and redacted. Had you bothered reading them you would know that they are in part a criticism of the transcribed bible as it existed at the time.

But I know you do not bother reading anything apart from dodgy websites (yes I have seen your favourites list) and prefer to block anyone that questions your deluded worldview.

His presentation of the fait accompli of the Mark fragment is deliberately deceitful.

Whilst there is strong argument for the fragment being from Mark, there are many issues with it being so, and for this man to stand in front of an audience with a fraudulent claim based on misrepresentation of the evidence and to ignore the facts of the matter is a disgrace.

And you will plainly sea that the scrolls modfy the bible as we know it. They simply serve to prove that the bible was a constantly edited and redacted collection of stories.

Anyone who actually studies manuscripts can attest that no two manuscripts in existence are completely identical. He claims that Isaiah is more or less identical to the Aleppo Codex, one of the most authoritative manuscripts. It's interesting that he uses this example to make his case that the Bible hasn't changed, because there's another Isaiah scroll found at Qumran with several differences. He would not have been able to make such a profound statement if he used the book of Samuel instead.

There has been some requests for providing examples of how the text of the Bible has changed. One example is that the Greek Septuagint version of Jeremiah is approximately 1/8 longer than any Hebrew version. The DSS version of Samuel adds a host of material to any other version in existence, including an entire paragraph on King Nahash. If you are interested in seeing just how the Bible is different acc. to the DSS, there is a book by Martin Abegg et al. titled "The Dead Sea Scrolls Bible."
