Donating to a charity like Goodwill can have a great impact on your community, you can check that here; http://donate.goodwill.org/. Transcript:
Hi, I'm Lorie Marrero and today's Clutter Video Tip is about what we call a donation station. [POP] This is a place you establish in your home to take things out of circulation once you've decided that you're ready to donate them. I like to keep mine on top of the spare refrigerator we have here [POP] in our laundry room, but you can keep yours in your garage or in a closet or whatever works for your family. I ask for paper sacks at the grocery store so that I'll have a really nice disposable container so that I can fill the sacks up with the items that we're ready to donate and when they're full, I just put them in the car and take them to Goodwill.

If you need to find the nearest donation center for Goodwill, you can go to donate.goodwill.org where you can also use our great Donation Impact Calculator and find out the effect that your donations [POP] will actually have on your community.

Another thing you might want to do is use our Donate for Dollars Donation Tracking Sheet. This is available on our site at clutterdiet.com/freetips on the left side of the page. You can print these out, keep them handy, and whenever you put something in the bag you can write it down so that you have a very clear itemized [POP] list of all the things that you've donated for household goods. And when it's time for your taxes you can get that receipt from Goodwill, put it together with this tracking sheet, and easily establish the value of the items you've donated for your taxes.

So, see you next time, and may you always be happy and grateful for having more than enough.
