Do we need the expensive boutique stuff to sound good? Hopefully this at the very least get us thinking about that question. Just a little theme I put together...I call it, 'Ode to a Prairiewood'...as all my expensive gear is gone due to repairs needed on the Prairiewood. lol So I have no choice but to think about that question! This just shows you, a talented guy can make modest gear sound great. That Godin sounds absolutely lovely Karl. Nice job my man. I like the melodic guitar line in this, I think ambient should have more of that!

@Danthehorse Thanks, bro! Really appreciate it. And that guitar line ended up being the theme in 'Introduction' on my album. haha It's nice what improving can bring up! :-)

What is responsible for that ambient synth sound, reverb yes, but ...?
Gnomebe 1 year ago
@Gnomebe It's a volume swell into a DD20 with infinite repeats on. Then it goes into an Arion SAD-1 analog delay which acts almost like a reverb or a chorus and washes everything out. :-)
