The Andaman Islands in India is our first adventure fishing the big blue ocean. A great first trip with www.gamefishingindia.com learning new techniques such as jigging and popping.Targeting Giant Trevallys, Dogtooth tuna and a host of other species. An unseasonal tropical storm limited the popper fishing time targeting the jumbo GT's in the 25-40kg bracket, but we will be back in 2012 for round two !

Great video, almost perfect :) (What would be perfect? Longer, that's what! Part of fishing is the anticipation, whereas such vids make it look like fishing is about catching huge great fish....)

Great video thanks for sharing it! i was on a much similiar trip recently on lamu island outside kenya. Alot off jigging and popping! Biggest GT on our trip was one caught on popper, around 40 kgs! This video makes me want to go to the andaman islands the next time! / Tobias from sweden

Yes thats right for Jigging and a bit of trolling, used Daiwa Global Tournamant for Popping, but going out soon with some Daiwa GT 86 which should be more suitable

Yes 80lbs tuf XP on popping rods, and Daiwa 65lbs Hyper coloured braid for jigging
