@Intercostaldrama I'm guessing it's Sawallisch & Dresden Ork on EMI "Great Recordings of the Century." I play that version quite often. Sure sounds the same. This version is OK. But I hold out for Paray & the Detroit Symphony.

What a magnificient theme! Epic! Superb! I love Schumann, a real romantic, without any pretention. He died too young.
