  • hey great playing man, I was wondering if you could tell me where to get the sheet music for this piece with the double stops included?

  • try on thesession dot org. you can find it there but without double stops. however itsn't hard to get it by ear

  • you're pretty good!! how come you get that sound around the 4th note of the tune?? sounds great:) i'm asking this because i've just taken to the irish fiddle and i'm looking for advice on bowing, ornementation etc.

    cheers

  • thanks for the comment.

the sound you're asking for is getting by playing fastly three notes instead of one. you also must press more with your bow to get a scrathy sound.

of course i don't get it perfect...but i'm still trying...

  • I like this tune, do you know if the music is on The Session tunes? where is it from? Q.

  • yes, it is on The Session, it´s an irish tune.

  • Excellent, esp. for only having played for 3 years at the time of recording! I'm sure you are quite good now!

  • one of my ultimate favourite tunes even though I play it with a variation! Nice bowing!

  • you wouldn't happen to be single would ya? LOL

  • Wow! Do you know where to get the sheet music for this?

  • This is great you do have great rhythm as someone else mentioned - something I find really difficult!

  • not bad, have you ever heard of mike snider

  • Really enjoyed this clip. I'm from a rock background but exploring african and celtic stuff at the moment and this is helping work out some guitar comping.

  • Many Irish players aim to simply blast through a tune as quickly as possible with no regard to rhythm. Your playing is very rhythmic, you GET it.
