Jerry West is the man dribbling in the NBA's logo. Now there's a sculpture of West dribbling outside WVU's coliseum.
The sculpture is the work of Morgantown artist Jamie Lester.
In this story, Lester reveals his thoughts as he sculpted a national legend. It first aired on the program "Outlook" March 29, 2007, on West Virginia PBS. It was produced by Pat Sergent and Jeremy Kleine.

  • Why is the Jerry West statute dark bronze? Shouldn't it be a whiteish silver?

  • Fantastic Sculpture!!! Awesome Detail, Amazing flow....

  • JERRY! Nice work man. Wonderful sense of equilibrium in motion, and economy of anatomical detail.
