Trying John Pearse Phosphor Bronze Medium strings. Perhaps Warmer sound than D'Addario EXP and incredible tone. Let's see how much time with this big sound.

Sorry for the peak at the end of "Old Man".

Guitar is the Boucher Indian Goose Studio Dreadnought, played (not very well, hehehe) with a C Heavy RedBear pick and recorded with a MXL .006 USB condenser mic.

  • A salesman at Guitar Center convinced me to try these strings after he realized they were out of the strings I normally use. They sounded good at first but lasted less then a week. Kind of annoying....

  • @knechtges

At the end I'm using D'Addario right now, it's no so middle sounding and has more twang, to my ears.

  • That guitar has a huge sound...love it!

  • Like the sound, may try. I have a Boucher Wild Goose OM. Had always used Elixir Phosphor Bronze Lights however my local store was out when I needed new ones. Ended up putting on D'Addarios PB Lights on...they are OK . Like your selection of songs. I actually played along.

    Thanks for doing.
