That's heaven to me (Sam Cooke and The Soul Stirrers Cover)

On thanksgiving night (2010) I received the phone call that my dear uncle had died, a few months earlier in August(2010) I had already lost an uncle. We took a road trip to Texas to attend the funeral. After the funeral we headed back to Connecticut (where I live), it was an early December morning that we got back, that same morning I got into a car accident, my car was wrecked, but I walked away without a scratch. I thought long and hard about life and the beauty of the small things that I had taken for granted.

So I got an old video of me playing guitar and singing this old tune and set it to the footage from our road trip to the funeral. I dedicate this to all of the people who didn't make it with us into the year 2011. May their souls rest in peace.
