Sorry, placidar, our country WAS founded on Christian principles and ethics. Check out our early documents, esp. every state constitution and you will find, not just God, but the Lord Jesus Christ mentioned. We were founded as a Christian nation. Don't swallow the 'bull' you've been fed.

Placidair is completely right. Happy Holidays is an inclusive comment that is sensitive to all religious beliefs. Saying Happy Holidays shouldn't be insulting to Christians, it is simply an inclusive way to recognize all holidays during the season.

Another comment by the performers shows their myopic & ignorant view: (paraphrased) There are a lot of holidays in February, so why don't we say Happy Holidays then. Because they are not "holy days" as ogopogoogo mentions.
