THey are not raising the costs the costs are getting passed on to everyone who pays because of the illegal immigrants who already get free health care and the poor who like going to the doctor for socializing with a doctor or nurse. If you want rationed care go to the UK.

I'll say it again. the profit margins for insurance companies 3 % big pharma 17-20%. Big pharma bought OBama off, and he wants to take over insurance so he can give his fellow corrupt friends more money and power.

Profit margin which you love to cite is the amount of profit after all salaries and expenses are paid. What it doesn't reflect is that no one in any agency overseeing any public option is going to be making $124 million a year like the CEOs of some of these insurance companies. Profits are what go to shareholders...not this stuff.

By saying it again I reiterated the point that they are not the problem. Socializing it will make a huge problem. If you want lower rates then pass Tort reform. Quit giving illegal and legal immigrants free health care. Quit letting people with free health care eat what ever the hell they want. Let the smokers and fat people pay their share. Right now government regulations do not allow insurance to bill them beyond 10 percent from the healthy counterparts.
