  • @dawnbegins1 I just read couple reviews on UltimateGuitar and it says that the guitar is in fact neck heavy.

  • If YOU were familiar with Chuck Schuldiner, you would know that's not how you pronounce his name :P

  • Chuck used one humbucker, an X2N, which I've been using since 1982. 550mv gets it done.

    Customer Reviews:

"This is one exceptional bass. Build qaulity and fit is excellent as is the fretwork. Its also the first bass I really really like the sound of passive. I had planned to drop a basslines blackout 2band eq into it but it doesnt need that tonal advantage most basses get with an added preamp. Nice warm bridge pup voicing rather then the overly ..."

  • @WakizashiSabre hey hey, i know i know, but im responding for my liking :P

  • @maggot6639 Very subjective... Some people prefer EMGs to BOs,

  • @king666nothing true true i agree with you

  • @maggot6639 Yeah, Blackouts are usually better than EMG's, but Mick Thomson's signature Blackouts are fucking useless. They sound like shit.

Actually I'm not a fan of active pickups at all, I prefer DiMarzio DActivators - they're as close to active sound as you can get but with a passive pickup.

  • @king666nothing only cause they come with EMG's, but put some EMG's on a ibanez and bam! or even better, Seymour duncan blackouts! EMG's are kids compared to Blackouts!

  • He said his name wrong...

  • @king666nothing I hear that. Just from my experience I've played 2 dinkys and actually had a professional model Kelly for a while, and I really wan't happy with any of them. The RG thing is kind of silly, but I just really dig how their wizard necks play. My friend has a cheapo ESP and it's still a really sweet playing guitar. Again, it's all subjective, but that's just my experience.

  • @Metalcortaku I've never played Jackson guitars (the Dominion is probably the only Jackson model I'd get). I do like Ibanez guitars, but the whole "thousands of different RG models that look exactly the same" thing is kind of stupid. However, Ibanez Xiphos is by far my favorite guitar of all time. And yeah, ESP guitars are pretty much flawless.

But it all really comes down to subjective personal preference, and no point in arguing about it.
