This is my first video, so forgive the cutting, but this is a very discussion worthy topic...

  • Why didn't you upload any more videos?

  • @periurban Man I am really shy it took a long time after guying a nice camera just to make what I did. I actually had the camera in my hand the other day thinking video replies were looking mighty good this may be the inspiration I need to do so... Thanks!

    O,

  • @Opinionator52 Oh by the way I don't get what's with you tube they stopped both of my view counters after 15,000+ videos... I know I've watched many 100,000s if not over a bit over 1,000,000... I made a comment about it to no avail, but after some thought on it I have nothing to prove, but it would be nice for at least me to know my counts...

    O,

  • i'd LOVE to make dough from u-tube, mainly because i'm poor---but i dig your reservations. and doubts.

  • Thanks, I like it like it is, mainly because it's free, and I think the old saying you have to spend money to make money would have to apply somewhere along the line. There are plenty of ways to do that without the Tube... I'm on here for the grand ability for average folk to reach out to one another in the best way I've seen yet...

  • That lasted about 15 seconds then change the channel, YOur about as boring as a JOHN KERRY speech. and you cant get worse than that. Keep your day job.

  • Seems a case of "money-talks" and buys democracy. Opinion:

Launched in 2005, YT enabled anyone with I-net to post videos worldwide n minutes, now a vital part of I-culture. YT's awarded 2008 George Foster Peabody Award, cited as being "a Speakers-Corner that embodies and promotes democracy."

So - I'm standing on a "street-corner" now, thanks to YT. I say keep it as-is, once the "streets" are made, we shouldn't be charged to talk, sharing what we have, few exceptions. Thx for A+ video!

  • You are so right, so right. The limited controls on YouTube are just fine. More control is less freedom. Money, money, money. Capitalism. Advertising. Yep, you're so right. I have little money but I can participate in this place. I like it just fine.

  • Definately have a good point here. The one of the cool things about YouTube is the freedom of expression. I don't see any good reason to have more controls on freedom of speach than we already have.

  • i'm with you Opinionator52! this is an excellent topic that needs to be discussed by YouTube members. YouTube needs to be OPEN & FREE!!!
