FORBIDDEN THOUGHTS



Looking down from his cross

seeing tears, in his mothers eyes,

I wonder how Jesus felt,

had he already died inside?



And while gazing over blind men,

could he really have believed,

that in death, he'd be resurrected,

and given time, the blind would see?



And when he cried out to his father

..forgive them, they know not what they do..

did he open doors to heaven,

for the likes of me and you?



And when he drew his last breath,

would he have truly realised,

that he could do no more in Jerusalem,

he most concur, from the skies?



For if he didn't, then it was over.

And death, is definitely the end.

And if there is no heaven,

there would appear to still be hell.

For the hell is, just not knowing,

what went on inside his mind.

I could draw my own conclusions,

but then I too, could go blind.



So I will leave it now, wont think much more

but if what folk say is true...

everyone was made in the likeness of Jesus,

so I guess he wondered too.
