  • @MRafh979 --Many convert to Islam for ignorance & others for being threat (Qur'an 9:5). Muhammad never spoke to Allah nor he did miracles (Qur'an 29:50).

I mean, why then Muhammad was a prophet? Because the Qur'an said so? & why the Qur'an said so? Because Muhammad Said so! This is circular reasoning.

Several Hadith speak about the relationship of Muhammad & Aisha! How can that be a prophet?

Qur'an is a book of one (Muhammad). The Bible a book of several ones that speak about the same Truth.

  • @HushAndLearn Well, from my knowledge Muhammad did say that God speaks to him, therefore, he is a prophet. At first people thought Muhammad was crazy because he was an uneducated man, but after a while people start to listen to him and surprise of much he knows. By the way I'm a CHRISTIAN.

  • @romain6655 >>Well, from my knowledge Muhammad did say that God speaks to him, therefore, he is a prophet

--[Qur'an 2:97] "Whoever is an enemy to Gabriel - it is he who has brought the Qur'an down upon your heart, [O Muhammad], by permission of Allah , confirming that which was before it and as guidance and good tidings for the believers."

According Qur'an 2:97 was Gabriel. Qur'an says Muhammad is a prophet and Muhammad is the one who wrote the Qur'an, that is call circular reasoning.

    Regards

--The only way to be a Christian is by following Jesus Christ teachings. Jesus taught us to love our enemies and Muhammad to kill them, so there is no compatibility between them.

Joseph Smith claim to be the last prophet, why not him instead of Muhammad? None of them did miracles nor spoke to God!

  • @HushAndLearn I have muslim roommate. Listening to him and youtube professors of islam, I perceive something: Since the Koran was 'given' by God, complete, with explicit commands for life, the muslim presumes that everything that has gone before must also follow this model. If it does not, it is almost like they cannot even see it (like being color-blind). Jesus is God reaching out to mankind for love and relationship -- not a bunch of threatening commands in plain-text.

  • @quakerman7 According to [Qur'an 2:97] it wasn't given by God but by the Angel Gabriel & apostle Paul warned us in [2 Corinthians 11:14] And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light.

Every time I asked a Muslims why they believe Muhammad and not Joseph Smith if Smith claim to be the last prophet, I never get an answer that make sense; none of them did miracles nor ever spoke to God. The best way to support claims is by doing miracles which none of them did

    Regards

  • He could be Nigerian, he's got the nigerian accent

  • @samuellis Well I am an English speaking American and I can understand what he is saying, he speaks rather good English but with an accent of course.

  • @HushAndLearn 1) A true prophet can 'close the line of prophets of God'. 2) Muslims believe Jesus was a true prophet. 3) Jesus closes the line of prophets with John the Baptist in Matt 11:11-14., 4) Therefore, Mohammed is canceled as a valid candidate for the role of Prophet.

What do you think if this syllogism. I have an expanded version of it, but it can't fit here.

  • @romain6655 Yes, Lucifer/Shaitan can appear as an angel of light. He was created beautiful, after all, it is his heart that became twisted and ugly. Question: how did Mohammed know he was not being fooled? Considering that the Bible was not translated into Arabic for 2 more centuries after Moh., I suspect that the only knowledge he had was rumor and hearsay. I see so many basic factual and spiritual errors in Koran I do not know even where to begin.

  • @romain6655 There is only 1 test as to whether a prophet is truly from God: Has he made even one prophecy that did not come true. Through the old & new testaments, there were countless false prophets - it was a real problem, especially when the false prophets only would tell the king and the people what they wanted to hear.

  • @HushAndLearn Agreed. No one believer or atheist should be satisfied with circular reasoning. If one was required to believe in a holy book merely because it commanded it, we should all convert to Mormonism now! Heh. No, one of the ways to break the circle is to recognize prophecies ... written hundreds of years before, fulfilled precisely in time. The Bible is a document that shows it was written by someone who is above and outside of Time itself.

  • @romain6655 there is no proof that God spoke to Muhamed. Well you could say he was illiterate. But what miracles did muhamed perform? and what prophecies did he speak?
