u need gold to play games online period. There are zero games on the 360 that can be played online for no charge. thats just how bad the console sucks.

actually yeah when netflix was first announced, they said you need a gold membership for it.
but i dont know why some people complain about paying for it, its worth it, plus you dont have to pay monthly, you can by the whole year, which is actually a better deal kuz if you pay monthly you end up paying more. or you can just get a silver membership, its FREE, you still can play online and download stuff, so its not like xbox is completely scamming you
