  • @SkacikPL i have to agree with you, that many of the source models are low poly, but the charater models are highpoly in comparision to the rest of the low poly stuff. just take a look at the faces of the characters ingame. that wouldnt work low-poly like. they are highpoly, perhaps not for todays standards, but 10years ago, when bloodlines was released, they were

  • "high poly" , actually source engine has one of most low poly characters , also textures in VTMB can use normal maps both on brushes (walls floors etc.) and models.

    i've noticed that VTMB uses a lot of refraction maps , a lot more than hl2 ever used i'm currently working on porting some of maps and textures onto hl2 ep2 engine
