Sufjan moves me like no other!
Even though there are some dark, lonely elements, the mystery and poignancy keep one buoyed upward in a spiritual place. I really appreciate the layered word meanings and the sparse way he conveys his message.

I read in an interview somewhere that he's thinking about focusing more on arranging than songwriting from now on. While I hope he makes many more albums, I love the string parts he comes up with to intro his songs and there's no doubt he has a real talent for it,

In our world he will never be a pop star because this is far beyond pop music.
But I'm sure that almost everyone who has some feeling for music will like - if not love - Sufan Stevens after having seen this video.
