General Motors EV1 Electric Car -revived and running

as i understant it they were never sold just rented because the plan was to pull every last one off the market anyway. it was a publicity stunt to shut up california and it worked.

I just watched Who Killed the Electric Car. I am so depressed to find all this out. Such irresponsibility from everyone involved. To think we could have had thousands or possibly millions of these types of cars on the road instead of the dirty gas guzzlers just makes me sick and sad.

I saw it last night also. The real truth why we do not have electric cars,GM buying the battery company that made the battery for the EV1 then selling that battery company to Texaco. GM and the oil companies have been Fucking us for years. Then our shitty run government bailing out GM,way to go dumbasses. Some of the first cars made were electric cars, even the old elect. street cars, and yeah GM bought out the street cars and crushed all of them,just like they did with the EV1.

We need people in our government that have balls and not looking to make millions of dollars. People that really want to make a change. I'm going to stop here,I'm so pissed off with the oil companies and our gov. Watch this documentry "Who Killed The Electric Car"

This car had potential. One of the best things GM could have done at the time.

The Volt has potential too, but GM will find a way to screw that car up too.
