Wellington has to be one of the worst to land into in New Zealand and I've flown into a bunch of them both as a passenger on a commercial flight and as pilot in command. Coming in from Cook Strait over Moa Point Road there is an enormous sink and you loose serious lift. If you're too low, you can almost end up in the chain link fence surrounding the airport.
Palmerston North is another crazy one I've flown in and out of. Nutty crosswinds that have you coming in to land sideays! Fun!
