It's not the word you use, but the intent behind it. The message you communicate is what's important, not the exact words.

ok guys, the N word is worse. i would never use the F word cause i respect peoples lifestyles and in my school in georgia im usually the kid backing up homosexuals seeing that my school is close minded, but the N word is on another level.
there is a violent and disgusting history with the N word that is absent with the f word. millions of blacks died in america due to racism. gays have it rough but you cant compare it to a history of slavery.

um, faggot is worse than other terms because it literally denotes that historically, people were within their rights to SET CERTAIN PEOPLE ON FIRE, much like the n-word denotes a history in which people were in their rights to OWN OTHER PEOPLE. i can't believe this clip went on for over 8 minutes without addressing the fact that this is the language of the most upsetting kind of objectification -- THAT's what makes these words different.

@neil182sr Let us not forget that faggot also implied the church's practice of lighting people on fire at the stake. I am atheist as well oddly enough, but that is besides the point. Just because you do not "buy that bullshit" does not mean it did not happen.I repeat my earlier point when I said history of the word is meaningless, what is meaningful is the intent behind the word, and by that logic, yes faggot is as bad as nigger. End of story.
