Men, I remember seeing this guy with Sunny Ade, spanning many many years. The guy is a MASTER!!! Does anyone have a video of Alhaji Tiamiu Ayan, who also used to play for Sunny Ade in the 70s and 80s? Thanks for posting this video.

Rasaki Aladokun is keeping the tradition alive, and I think that he is also something of a "virtuoso" on this instrument as a result of his participation in the commercial music industry.

more like a result of learning from his father since he was a small boy living in Nigeria..seems like he's just carrying on the family tradition and having fun with it!
