Apache Trail Route 88 Dirt Road Arizona

This road is near Phoenix and is one of the recommended tourist viewing roads. The road goes along nicely as you go East and up to the apex. After that, towards the Roosevelt Dam, things get dicey as the road turns into a dirt road, has little protection of falling over the edge, has a steep slope and is very narrow. It is very rare to put an automatic car into second gear but I did. Otherwise, it is a hoot as Johnson and I found out. A 2-dimensional movie hardly does it justice but I hope you like it in High Definition.

This is the best video I've been able to find here about this trail so far...just wish it was longer!

I'll be in AZ in another month and heard about this trail. Not sure I'll have the nerve to do it as I get dizzy just watching your footage.

Great shot I plan on retiring to Apache Junction in 2 years, how many pairs of underwear do you need to carry for a change??? Great video, I won't let my wife drive!!!!!
