POPRA Racing would like to welcome you to offshore racing. Our mission is to have fun, meet new and old friends, travel to great race sites and race our boats. Its a simple combination of food, fun, camaraderie and racing that our racers and fans both enjoy.

POPRA offers eight Performance Classes, however, any class of offshore boats are welcome and can race under their own set of rules as long as there are three boats competing in that class. Otherwise, any boat can fit into one of the speed bracket Performance Classes.

Performance Class racing is an inexpensive way to come out and race your boat. There are no strict engine specifications to follow, as long as your boat can run 65MPH, you can be competitive in Performance Class Racing. We thrive on providing highly competitive entertainment to race fans wherever we go.

In destin Florida, they where doing about 153mph, at San Diego it was a no prize race, so they where just milling around under the helo for camera time.

Sorry for the shaky hand, it was a last minute scheduling. Normally Advanguard Productions will use Gyro stabilization equipment to provide the best quality video for the budget.
