With an assembly time of approximately two hours, Futaba's new G-Robot is a small robot that can easily be built and has a full range of motions thanks to its many actuators and control unit.
Of the twenty actuators in the body, The 11 in the lower half of the body are mostly RS301R Servo motors that use metal gears to help with the motion. In the upper body there there are nine RS302CD actuators which are smaller and lighter.
Everything necessary for assembly is included in the set such as a lithium polymer battery, controller and motion editing software. With the motion editing software, the time of the actions can be controlled and the movements of the limbs can be programmed down to a tenth of a degree. All of this without needing to know any programming language.
