He will be missed by drummers, but he will not be missed by any trumpets, saxophones, or trombone players in his band.

Does anyone know what pattern Buddy is doing with his bass drum at 1:09 because it sounds so good?
-
Neil Peart idolizes, respects, admires, emulates and has paid tribute to Buddy Rich........enough said!

@pianojoemiami not hard to figure out you're probably that bitter person. Now GET LOST because you can NOT change the mind of the millions of us who revere his talent and treasure his memory no matter how hard you try. FOOL.
why the hell do I always have to read about Travis Barker when I watch classic drummer videos? - I mean the guy is a talented drummer, but he's probably embarrassed by his moron fans. sheesh.

@4against1 and if it wasnt for these "old style dudes" NONE of your idols would be drumming, these crated jsut about everything you see of modern drumming, inlcuding helping to design, develop and crate modern cymbals, drums, sticks and drumheads.so before you disrespect your elders
