Sorry, but this car SUCKS for real! Y? Because, my favorite one is GTR34! And I live in Europe, and we drive on right side of the street. A finaly when the got idea to put GTR in world wide market, they gives us a SUPERSHITY design of this car! TFU!!! I'm gonna womit! :P

I think the mistake is that most people(like she) think the g35 was the R35, which wasn´t...

you´re right in an aspect, RB26 really helped making the skyline so popular, because of it´s reliability even when people pulled more then twice the horsepower it was designed to output.
But don´t forget all the technology behind the GT-R brand since ever, even in te 60´s the skyline was an "overevolved" car...
Someday they had to change the engine inside it, it was now...ok..let´s see how this one behaves...

GT500 is another kind of car, i love them both also, but if i had to really choose between one or the other, i would choose the Nissan.
The GT500 has a wide open throat, not very good to our european pockets(expensive gasoline here...)
