Congressman Allen is a co-sponsor of the Employee Free Choice Act (EFCA). You would think he'd speak on the issue and what is in the bill. The EFCA takes away an employees right to a private ballot. The "barriers are enormous" says Allen but that's a complete lie. Currently, the National Labor Relations Board oversees a private election for unionization. That would be illegal if people like Tom Allen got their way. Under the bill, a public signature (probably under coercion) is sufficient.
Maybe you should read the bill. It does NOT take away the right to a secret ballot
