4. Democrats controlled Congress for the last 2 years of Bush's term when the crisis occurred and had the sole power to prevent it (not Bush)
5. None of Bush's long term actions over his eight year period can be pointed to as the root cause of the crisis (so no. It did not take 8 years to do this damage)
6. I don't expect Obama to fix everything in a year. I expect him to stop making it worse.

Obama's been in office for 18 month & has done more economic damage then most any President in history ! He couldn't have done it without the Congress held hostage by the Dem majority, Pelosi & Reid.

I don't agree with why we went to war, I don't see how Obama is going to get us out either. I also don't see how discussing the lies of a previous administration is any valid argument to the lies coming out of the current administration. I'm sick of all the lying politicians, if we don't start putting pressure on them collectively and continue to argue dem vs rep they will continue to do as they wish. If we vote someone in based on truth rather than lies wouldn't we all be better off, yes?

I have just one question for you. Do you really think that things were better with Bush as president? he created this mess that we are in. It took 8 yrs. to do this damage and you want everything fixed in a year of president Obama taking office? Are you serious? I don't wish you any ill and you are most certainly entitled to your opinion, but please tell me if you think that Bush is totally without fault here? Take care.

No, Bush sucked! They all suck! We need to demand our officials be held to a higher standard. Start now or we will just continue down this road of electing the lesser of two evils. Really, is that what is best for America???
"Would you rather have (Insert worst politician ever) in charge?" is NOT a valid argument, the quicker people pick up on that fact we might have a chance of saving what's left of America.
