Originally this was a tune i wrote after being ...well, that's a long story that involves 6 state troopers and my Datsun 280z. It turned out humorously ok, thanks officer Hicks, but anyway I was on my way home from Turtle Island as it was and so just changed the lyrics up a bit and made it about my favorite preserve in Appalachia. The slide show is selections from 12 years of involvement with Eustace and T.I., some new, some old, some in between. I especially am glad we got a shot of the barn being built, that's a bunch of us on top there with hands up. And HEY, there is a rare video of a Chuckwagon battle in there too, referenced in the song by socks, creek crossing battles, and a big ol log. LOL. Never before seen footage there. haha
I threw this video on youtube just in time for the Fall 2010 Turtle Tracks newsletter so for those who found it - enjoy! It's for you, and everyone who keeps the island alive and moving forward. I am excited to see TI in a great phase of growth and popularity, I see greater things happening in the future.
