Just as I thought while watching this video, this service would not last... as the Microsoft developers had no staying power. They just gave up to google without a fight. Go to msndirect and you will see they are no longer accepting new service contracts, and the service for existing contracts dies permantly June 1, 2012. As a software developer myself, I say, if you develop something, you are OBLIGATED to SUPPORT IT FOREVER. Esp. if its proprietary and not open source. DUH.

So you can't send or recieve MSN Messenger chat messages with this? Or hotmail email? FAIL. How come none of these devices, even the 1690 and 3790, both with cellular data connectivity, can't send or recieve SMS messages like every other cell phone out there. :-X
