Nes version was good, but MSX version was much much better. Had good time with NES version when I was young and I really liked.
Anyway there were plenty shitty NES games so save your anger for them. Metal Gear for NES was not among them, although some items were bit illogical (e.g. compass)

the REAL problem is when the game is called Super Mario Bros, with no Mario!

So you realize that you're using the NES box art in the video, when the soundtracks are from the MSX version, right?
