OL TUKAI LODGE, AMBOSELI, KENYA.

A mid range lodge. The rooms are in need of a little TLC, but the main buildings are fine. The food is of a very high standard. Compared to other more expensive lodges, Ol Tukai is VERY good value for money.

and i was sure i had thought of everything.. how did you cover your camera equipment? i have a lot of camera equipment, lens, video, etc.

do they sell like a sleeve or something?

If yo have a zip up camera case, that should br fine, but the dust is very fine and can even get through the zip. So keep your jacket(safari) over it, ot use a small towel from your room. If you can get a draw string bag that can work too. Take a can of air or a blow brush to remove any dust before you clean them, or you will scratch your lenses. If you have a polorising filter that will deepen the blues in the sky & enrich the colours. Light in Africa can be harsh. Enjoy Alan

Have a great safari. Oct' is a good time as the game will be concentrated around the marsh as it is the end of the dry season. It WILL be very dusty though, so keep your camera/video well covered. Safri Njema (safe journey)
