seriously this historian is an idiot. why do extremely old recordings , documents , etc exist from the days of the genocide? i dont think he has sit down the learn the armenian language and listen to the recordings himself. i have an ancient recording of my grandma talking about the genocide while my mom records it and my mom was 18 (more or less) at the time.

@sarmenhb the difference between an historical event and a legend is one of them rely on historical documents, telegrams, etc. , the other one rely on legends. Historians don t interest in with ur grandfathers words. they may not be objective. i am not sure if he needed armenian language. coz armenian state banned the historians for searching armenian archives. armenian gov. shows how they are one sided and how they are scaring. and J. M. Carty is head of History department of Louisville Uni.

I just read the information about Armenian population in 1915. I've just found an interesting point that in 1915 the Armenian population was 950000, so how 1.5 million Armenian could die in genocide?
