  • actually if you wanted a narrower bead with deeper penetration you would pull. and who doesn't like deeper penetration.

  • @Bluesman74460 If in still air push or pull, its your choice. Overhead is a different matter. Practice a lot on scrap to perfect the settings of the machine, and wear good protective clothes as I guarantee weld will drip where it hurts BTDT, Ouch!. Mike

  • @mankybub Pull welding keeps the gas shroud over the cooling weld bead and helps stop oxidation of the still hot weld bead. This becomes more important when working in exposed locations where wind can blow the shroud away. Push is only essential when running a bead vertically. Mike

  • Expert Village is another term for dong meat. 

  • LOLS A Light filter would be good.. those light frequencies are still harmful over cam.. just not very intense

  • a coded welder? u mean certified? im certified. tig weld titatium. no1 on here has anything on me. lay a row of dimes that are within tolerances as big as .002 of an inch
