EOS 500D / Rebel T1i low light dof

Canon EOS 500D / Rebel T1i Dof test (with Canon 50mm 1/8)
First try, without tripod/stabilizer/editing... Out of the box with "verry low light" "without aditional ilumination" and "without manual settings" (music by BoCrew "Outstanding").... so, with some effort, great things can be done with the 500d & 50mm...

Nice video! When you refer to the 50 mm lens, it's not kit lens, right? Could you please provide me a link to the exactly lens you are using?

Your right. It isn't the Canon Kit lens. It's the Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II. In appearance, and even the build quality aren't that great (plastic), but it's perhaps Canon cheapest lens and the lenses used (that thing that matters) are awesome for it's price (100€ / 145$)

I have the 500d and have recently got the 50mm 1.8 lens.It feels cheap,yes it does,but what can be achived with it is magic.Cant wait to get out and do some nighttime photography,as ive not had chance yet,but im sure it'll do a fine job.

@Regoproductions Try lowering your ISO. Higher ISO makes your image noisy.
