(Improvised) acoustic tribute to the late, great American guitarist Jack Rose, who died suddenly of a heart attack at age 38 on December 5, 2009.

Rose played in the noise/drone band Pelt before venturing into the world of American Primitivism, Blues, Country Blues and Ragtime acoustic guitar compositions. His work is characterized (among many, many other elements) by alternative tunings like the one featured here.

This piece is inspired by his work on the tracks "Calais to Dover" and "Across The North Fork". It was performed by Caspian guitarist Philip Jamieson in Beverly, Massachusetts on January 2011.

Rest In Peace to the one of the finest American guitarists of all time.
