Former WWE star Andrew "Test" Martin was found dead in his Tampa, Fla. apartment on Friday night, according to a report by PWInsider.com.

Martin was 33 years old and nearing his birthday on March 17.

After being released by WWE in 2006 when he was on the ECW brand, Martin re-surfaced in TNA where he had a brief run until being released from the company.

Martin semi-retired from pro wrestling, then he was arrested on a drunk driving charge in Florida one year ago.

Martin was formerly in a relationship with WWE diva Kelly Kelly, who said in a February interview on the Bubba Love Sponge radio show that they remained close friends after their relationship ended.

Asked if Martin being released from WWE while Kelly was still with WWE had an effect on their relationship, Kelly said that was a strong factor.

She said Martin was planning to attend school to become a personal trainer.

No further details on the cause of death are known right now.

  • WWE is the cause for all these premature deaths. They require that the wrestlers be larger than life with great physiques and muscles. This leads to steroid use... Then, the wrestlers become addicted to painkillers because of the rigorous tour schedule. They then take pick-me-ups to avoid becoming lethargic and sloppy, resulting in a bad mix of drugs. Further, wrestlers have few career choices outside of WWE, so in essence, they become trapped in this cycle. Did anyone see the E60 on Scott Hall?

  • @mrbigblacknutz I think you may be right. The site I used is no longer active. If I can find the information again I will post it. Sorry. But I'll keep looking cause I know I saw it somewhere.(I was looking up strange wrestling deaths lol)

  • @fineantight Well then feel free to post the link cause I got nothing. Unless you are reading some made up fan fiction, I find absolutely nothing of the sort and never once heard this before. They were together only on screen. That's it.

  • @mrbigblacknutz No actually they were having an affair. Paul confirmed it and almost divorced Stephanie for it. The storyline was before that. Don't believe me? Google it.

  • @fineantight lol seems you are confusing an old storyline they had with real life, and/or just pulling nonsense out your ass. Andrew was never with Stephanie IRL. He was with Kelly Kelly though.

  • @Blueblade53 u hoped i lost somone i loved?

........ok.....i hope ur fukn dog gets ran over n looks u in the eyes as i stomp him to death ;D

    FUK U!

  • @CaFord50 they usually show the death of a wrestler at the beginning of the intro

  • @Genocide1007 really? he is the best??

  • speak the fuck up

  • Did you guys know that Test was clean for 3 years yet he died from an overdoes? Did you know that he and Stephanie McMahon were said to be having an affair? Apparently he threatened to go to the media, which would destroy Stephanie and the McMahon's reputation. Clearly outside of WWE, back then, they had a good reputation. But if someone went to the media with a story of infidelity or a big family, such as this family, screwing over superstars and crew members it could bring down WWE.
