Although some are left out, this video proves that Jordan faced the best perimeter defenders of all time. Not only did he have dominate performances against 6 DPOY, he also had great performances against today's so-called greats at age 38-40. Kobehomers act as if Jordan faced no one in his career, yet it is their hero who plays in an era where defense was curtailed to improve scoring and its their hero who currently plays against no perimeter DPOY.

Anyone who can read this interview and somehow process that it means "Its harder to score today" should be no longer allowed to watch basketball

  • its so funny how you have only around 3 or 4 players that were taller than jordan in this 9min video(i'm talking about 6'7, only 1 inch). and almost all of them are 6'3 -6'6. just like Kobe. played against smaller players. no wonder they had an advantage...........i should play against 5th graders or something!!! Great idea.

  • @DesMadreSierreNo I its obvious that your partially retarded. Maybe you can ask kobe why he couldn't dominate a 6'3 eric snow. Also last time I checked when did one or two inches become such a great advantage.

  • @calabis...Go Up For A Rebound Or Jump Ball & Tell Me What Advantage It Gives U.....

  • @CaveKanem please explain how dennis rodman has rebounding titles at 6'7 over 7 footers....that was a horrible example....

  • there were tough defenders his era but there are better defenders this era. basketball like all sports evolves over time

  • the question is was there a good defender that had to go against jordan on every team he played against and how many times did he go against them ?

  • @mikenotnumber1 stop embarrasing yourself, he was widely considered the best perimeter defender in the league this year by pretty big margin.. Go watch some games with him. He finished 4th in DPOY (1st among perimeter players), despite playing only 2nd half of the season, being a low profile name and playing in a small market.. but his contribution on the defensive end was remarkable. Honorable mention for this season: Iguodala, James, Brewer, Mbah a Moute, Ariza, Hill, Wade, Sefolosha..

  • @mikenotnumber1 May be you should start watching basketball. Tony Allen was easilly the best perimeter defender in the league last season, Iguodala second. How many Memphis games you've seen?

  • @DesMadreSierreNo

Also the best perimeter defender in the NBA today is 6'4 Tony Allen. Go figure. You can not guard MJ with bigger defenders he would just blow by them, smaller guys are the "less hurtful" option..prevent penetration and make him shoot jumpers.

  • Everybody wants to be like mike. lol

  • @LebronJamesHoopz You just continue to lie. Either: A) You're an absolute idiot - B) You're a tool of some kind - or C) You're a hopeless troll.

On second thought you're all of the above. Basketball reference (dot) com.

I'm still embarrassed for you. But "LIKE I SID DONT EVER TRY TO LIE ABOUT STATS AGAIN. Ur OWNED Once again." Hah!

  • @Amir883 mj rec vs was 2-4 vs raps right off espnstathotline just go to mj's rec vs raps. LIKE I SID DONT EVER TRY TO LIE ABOUT STATS AGAIN. Ur OWNED Once again

  • @LebronJamesHoopz 3-1 in 95-96, 3-1 in 96-97, 4-0 in 97-98, 2-0 in 01-'02, 1-3 in 02-03. Which comes to 13-5 .Those come directly from the basketball reference website. Seriously it's like you eat lead paint chips for dinner every night. I can't believe you quote the actual site I got the actual stats from. DON'T EVER TRY TO LIE ABOUT STATS AGAIN. I'm embarrassed for you.
