One Month Later

((Part 6))

Dean spends his time in a cold dark room by himself feeling as if he had just given up on her and failed Ruby saying that he was trying to protect her in keeping her safe, but he couldn't and screwed it up. He wasn't sure how he was going to live on like this without her. The next day Sam and Dean are driving to a hunt miles away from where Ruby died and Sam has a nightmare about Ruby Dean could tell it was about her by the way Sam was reacting after it and they both started to discuss how that its just the way life works and they have to go on without her. They stop at a camp site hours later staying there for the night as Dean saw Sam sitting alone by a tree and they started talking. Sam starts to tell Dean that he just can't go on living thinking that Ruby was there saving his life and he couldn't even save Ruby. He felt like a failure and Dean told Sam that he shouldn't blame himself. Sam stayed silent and he begins to have a flashback of five months back when Sam was going to go after Lilith and Sam had gotten into an argument and just got up and left her there.

A couple of days later Dean wakes to a nightmare and wakes up just trying to get his night mare out of his head and he gets out of bed leaves the motel room calling Sam telling him he needed to talk to him. Hours later Sam arrives and Dean is sitting there all silent looking depressed than ever and Sam asks Dean what is on his mind. Dean begins talking saying how him falling in love with Anna was the cause of losing her. He knew that Ruby caught him, but didn't want to say anything and Dean had been filled with guilt not even sayng sorry to Ruby and Sam was in shock. He didn't know anything about this. Well sleeping with Anna, yes, but Ruby catching him? That was something he didn't know.

Little did Sam and Dean know that while that past month they beleived Ruby was dead, but they were wrong. As they were pulling were pulling the plug Ruby awakes after seeing these visions of Dean and she lets out a loud gasp as the doctors stand there in shock and Ruby asks one simple question: "Who do I have to kill to get some french fries in this place?"
