Christopher McDougall, author of the bestseller Born to Run, narrates this fundraiser video for Bob Ewing.
Bob is running the Washington DC Marine Corps Marathon barefoot. He's running in honor of his mom, who has cancer. Bob has two goals:
1. Raise $5000 through Team in Training for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
2. Encourage you to join the bone marrow registry.
The video includes testimonials from Harvard professor Dan Lieberman, MovNat founder Erwan Le Corre, the infamous Barefoot Ted, Hunter-Gatherer.com's caveman/Paleo diet guru John Durant, barefoot ultra-runner Jason Robillard and Shaka Mitchell, the president of MoreMarrowDonors.org. Also, Bob's girlfriend as well as his mother, who was diagnosed with lymphoma in 1996.
