How would you rate the top video quality? Is it really as good as a DVD as some people say. When i watched this video the only thing impressive about the camera is the sound. would you agree?

Zoom Q3 video is as good as DVD quality if recorded right, but not as HD.

sounds nice! What gain setting did you use? I got a Q3,,,but I am having problems formatting the sd card so I can use the handy share software.

I set the sound quality to MP3, 320 kbps, and the gain at auto. High mic gain appears to make the sound a bit boomy if it is too close (within 1 meter) to the sound hole.

Hey, I just got a Zoom Q3, just want to know what settings do i set my Sound Quality to? Im trying to record some grand piano

@onemellowdude I like it. My only problem is with the gain, high is too high and low is way too low. And with auto, the gain sets as high as possible until is picks up on the noise and lowers the gain until it's normal, works ok when recording your own playing but when i record recitals it's always a problem. there should have been a medium gain setting like on the h2.
