@baggies5468 That's true ,but, there is good stuff now. You just have to turn your regular TV and radio off and look online for it. One fantastic station called BBC 6Music plays excellent stuff old and new.

The Scream was an album that as a 12-year old I could lose myelf in over and over again. There is still something utterly intangible about Siouxsie which is possibly what gives her and the band an eternal quality. I recently gave my cd copy of the album a spin and was amazed to realise I could remember virtually all the words to this song after only perhaps having heard it once since 1980!

This clip is almost too good for words. Only saw them once. On the "Dreamhouse" tour in Edinburgh 82 with Robert Smith on guitar. They were plugging, in my opinion, an average album. Not a patch on this early stuff, or my fave, 81s, "Juju".....

I became a Banshees fan when the Peepshow album came out. First thing on my list was to go to the beginning and buy The Scream next. "Jigsaw Feeling" struck me as perhaps the most powerful song on the whole album. I will always love it and The Scream. John McKay is tied with John McGeoch as my favorite Banshees guitarists.
