Federal 124 Gr. +P 9mm Luger fired through water jugs. This is a retest of a previous test where the HST round failed to expand. I think that that first test was a fluke. Great expansion on this one.

  • lol i have never even heard of a 9mm revolver. How does that work, imean as far as the shells going in. what do they stop on without having a rim like a .38...& whats the price tag on that and do they make a speedloader for it???

  • @arkangel8419 This is an old vid. The gun we used is a Smith and Wesson Model 547. It is no longer in production but was made in a run from 80-85 I think for the Israeli’s. They cancelled the order and Smith and Wesson sold them to the public. There is a proprietary star extractor that holds the shell in place. I had a video showing close-ups of this gun, but I purged it to focus on ammo.

  • Great video man keep up with comparison test, they are awesome! Plus the ammo is very difficult to obtain this days..

But the result as you said: Perfect mushroom

    5/5

    Keep it up!

  • Ammunitiion to go has them now for 30 bucks a box, in stock.

  • nice! just what im expecting a perfect flower like expansion! IMO i think thats the best ammo for SD.. great job on this one man.. thanks for sharing.. what do ya think bout the federal hst 9mm 147 gr +p round? it could prolly go thru the that 4 jugs ha?

  • If I can find some 147's i'll test them. I can't find anything right now. From what I have read, the 147's go a bit deeper and expand just as nice. Thanks for the sub!

  • omg the water fairy died due to the dehydration, thanks to you wasting water. since someone ignorant was going to say it, I figured it would be me, a fellow water jug assassin.nice video :)

  • @pmalveda02

No, Mine only went through 3 Jugs out of 8 Tests with the 147+P, Same as Standard Pressure147gr HST. Now, the Speer Gold Dot 124+p Went Through 5 and kept going....Didn't expect that from a 124 ,but it is bonded, & it could have plugged, who knows.

  • @constipationhurts89 Completely invalid. If 9mm is weak then why does it kill 1000's of people yearly? Why does the military use it? Police? Your Grandpa lied to you, the Old 45 isnt the only round that will kill someone, my uncle is proof. Shot once with a 9mm by a Burglar, and didnt make it 5 min. Any 3/4 inch Burning Hot Chinese Star Spinning at 1050 FPS Will do some damage...Especially when i have 20 rounds and most .45's have 6-7...They Better Hit Me, i have chances to miss,A .45 Doesn't

  • "This is the 124 grain Plus P...Man thats Pretty"..Wait until you see a 147+P ;^)P I Agree with you as i carried that round for the past 4 years, But...The 147's have them Beat bigtime in my opinion. Especially my carry load, the HST 147+P....My XDM Full size loves them. Great concept too, Huge Expansion (.803 w/ Micrometer) And has the Extra Boost to Push The Extra Weight @ Higher Velocity. Until about 3 months ago i Never was a 147gr Fan before this round. The P9HST4 is Accurate as Shit too.

  • that metalic mushroom is a beautiful thing

  • @constipationhurts89 9mm is weak but if you do your part it can get the job done. I dont knock it really....
