They really hit it out of the park with Jack. Most shows that add such an important character so late in the series find it difficult for the audience to fully embrace them. But Jack was taken right into the fold without a hitch.

you know they made eric's character to be stupid but he was actually probably the wisest person on the show because he knew so much about people....the point he made with that story was very good :)
