Police Attack Climate Camp Protestors

This was the scene as riot cops stormed protesters in Bishopsgate, where Climate Campers had pitched tents in the middle of the road in protest at the false market based solutions such as carbon tradng being promoted at the G20 Summit. It had been a peaceful day with no violence as activists pitched tents set up stalls and partied in the sunshine. That was until police in full riot gear decided to rush the protesters, beating them with batons as the crowd shouted "Peace Not Riot"!

7000 policemen were lining up massive intimidation towards the people

police started to interrupt peacefull streetscene's of that day

images of demostrators turning violent because of the whole scene that was provoking from the side of police(state) demonstrators started to get nervous

Let's give unqualified minorities jobs because we need more "diversity." We value our "diverse" work force. It's great that we have so much "diversity" in schools. Our strength is our "diversity." I don't actually approve the use of deadly force on rioters, but I meant to say that the batons are nothing.

@revron77 I tire of people accusing the police of brutality these days. Police now have to be so incredibly careful not to do or say anything that could be contstrued to be racist/sexist/or sexual in any way. If a white cop shoots a black man, there is always huge controversy, even if the black man had already opened fire on the police. You know what used to be done in riot scenarios like this? Men would line up with rifles and open fire if the rioters remained violent. The batons are nothing.

Under the Geneva Convention if a state wishes to enact abuses apoun the people then it is the right of the people to fight back....

G20 was the same thing... look at the videos half the rioters were wearing police boots..... I wonder why....
