i kinda see what you mean, but you have to understand wigan are a team that have come up from the non league. blackburn in the nineties won the premier league. average conference national attendance is around 1,000-1,500 so you can just wave a magic wand and see yourselves with thirty thousand fans, it just doesn't work like that.

What you think because Blackburn is 20 mins down the road, it means suddenley they arn't affected by liverpool and manchester?
It's why all the teams like Blackburn, bolton have not good support, however if you look at the ratio comparison to thier town, Blackburn average 25,000 to a town population of 100,000 and the same with bolton that is good.
Blackburn and bolton can at least sell out away, Wigan havent and can't even sell out at turf moor or ewood hahah

haven't you noticed that there support is shit due to its a small rugby league loving town; it's placed in between liverpool and manchester, big competition; they were a non league side what ten years ago where attendances don't normally get normally get beyond 2,000. support doesn't just come to you, as a club, they've had to mostly find that support.
where as blackburn have history and have always been a good side so you have no excuses for your laughalbe support. (what a mouthful)
