@markart157 Even better is making your own tonic water. It isn't hard, and it tastes a million times better. If you drink good gin (Plymouth, citadell, martin miller) do yourself a favor and make some tonic sometime... its very easy. Just google "tonic water recipe" and youll find one.
Also, for a GREAT summer drink:
3 oz gin
1 oz tonic
1-1.5 oz fresh grapefruit juice (ruby red grapefuit)

lime ruins the drink? gin and tonics have been traditionally served with lime for ages...
other two are good observations, however.
