  • Ethanol simply does not have enough energy content to compete with carbon fuels.

    ------------------

it's good for rural america. but it can't last bc it's not efficient and raises food prices. We don't have time to mess around. just start making more electric cars allready damn it. "Plug in & Go" is the future. Not another energy commodity!

  • "streamlining regulations" is deregulation

yikes that is precicely the worst thing we can do. To follow righties and their failed economic philosophies toward total disaster.

  • does congress enjoy screwing over the american people? it seems like it.

  • Do you just go around Posting this on all heritage videos?

  • Rachel is the promotions officer for the Moreland Energy Foundation.

  • Is there anyone at the Heritage Foundation that has ever had a real job?

  • It's it's gibberish from the "Heritage Foundation" it's guaranteed to be a load of Right wing lobby group endorsing crap. Which big industry group can they convince govt to give welfare to today I wonder?

  • Hey Einstein, good call. We shouldn't use anything directly mentioned in the BIBLE right? That's all you red neck republican loving conservative morons understand. Sweet Jesus, is anything you beleive in not turned to utter shit by now? You had your chances, now let the grownups have a go.

  • We've got to get people to stop using wheels too (very ancient technology).

Way to attack the messenger so you can ignore the message.

  • Let me see if I can follow your logic. Ethanol is more expensive than gas, so using more of it should lower gas prices?!?

Ethanol simply does not have enough energy content to compete with carbon fuels. This is why you can't get as many mpg from a gal of ethanol that you can from gas, and why you don't power a car with just ethanol, but have mix gas in.

From what I understand, 90% of the energy that 1 gallon of ethanol will provide is burned just to produce it.
