Police Beating Protest at Fullerton Police Department for Kelly Thomas 8/6/2011

Kelly Thomas was a homeless man in Fullerton who was beaten to DEATH by Fullerton Police Officers on July 5th. He was taken off life support on July 10th. Today (Aug 6th) we protested outside the Fullerton PD to show our support. Justice for Kelly!

The City of Fullerton is paying $76,000.00 a month to the 6 cops who killed Kelly Thomas to sit at home and drink beer (stay-cation = stay at home vacation).

That's $12,666.00 per month per cop. Multiply that by 12 months and these cops make more than $150,000.00 a year.

These cops and their union are laughing at you the American taxpayer all the way to the bank; mocking you and calling you a sucker as they cover this up.

I find it interesting that if you stand by and do nothing when a crime happens...like say 6 large armed thugs beating a homeless mentally disabled person to death..you can be charged under the "good samaritan law" for not taking action. Yet the "good cops" that stand by and just watch are not even reprimanded. Apparently all of the police have placed themselves above the law. Long past time we change all of that.

Support the family of Kelly Thomas by letting your voice be heard loud and clear. Crimes against the homeless are hate crimes. My son, Shawn, is Schizophrenic and was arrested by Long Beach CA Police June 26th for no apparent reason. Shawn has not been seen anywhere since being taken by the Police. Is he a victim of their"homeless policy." or wandering the streets to be the next victim for "resisting arrest"
